Hi there 🙋🏻♀️
This week has been one of my fantastic journey.
There’s something strange about land navigation training. Before doing it, I thought it was just about maps, coordinates, directions, and surviving the terrain. But when I actually went through it, I realized it was much more than that. It became a lesson about endurance, teamwork, patience, and honestly… about fighting with your own mind when your body already wants to give up. Well actually this is not my first time but its been yearsss bruh and i’m not that young anymore 🤣
We walked through dense forests with uneven paths (partially) crossed rivers with boots completely soaked, climbed steep cliffs while carrying heavy gear, and passed through villages that somehow felt so peaceful in the middle of all the exhaustion. At some points, I genuinely felt like my legs couldn’t move anymore. The heat was unbearable, the bags felt twice as heavy, and every uphill trail looked endless. I remember thinking, “Why does this route never end?” But somehow, step by step, we kept moving anyway.
What made it unforgettable wasn’t only the difficulty, but the little moments in between. Laughing when someone slipped in the river. Random conversations while catching our breath. Teasing each other even when everyone was equally tired. Sharing snacks and water like they were luxury items. Those small moments made the exhaustion feel lighter. It reminded me that sometimes people become closest not during easy situations, but during the hardest ones.
There were moments where the forest felt calm and beautiful, and moments where it felt intimidating and endless. Sometimes I looked around and thought about how small we are compared to nature. No city noise, no comfort, no shortcuts — just us, the terrain, and the determination to keep going. Weirdly enough, that was the part I loved the most. It felt raw and real.
Physically, it was one of the most tiring activities I’ve ever done. My body hurt everywhere (especially i’m on my period 🥲) , my energy dropped, but the most grateful thing is i had a best team ever!. No one complained, even when we had to climb up cliff that makes my knees meet my chest 🤣. Everyone was so cooperative and supportive to another.
And now that it’s over, the exhaustion is slowly fading, but the memories stay. Looking back at all the rivers crossed, the cliffs climbed, the forests passed, and the laughter shared along the way
I realize the struggle was actually the best part of the journey.
It was tiring.
But it was also fun, unforgettable, and strangely beautiful in its own way.
Cheers🥂
